About Iceland

Iceland is a place where the earth’s beauty and splendour is alive in a primordial way. Iceland is an often forgotten island in the middle of the North Atlantic, sometimes not even shown on simplified maps. Iceland may not be front and centre on the world stage, but it has certainly been remembered by nature’s forces. The island is a living study of extreme geological and weather conditions. These natural wonders also provide the world’s best laboratory for our gear. Changes in weather can occur in the blink of an eye or the turn of a wheel. It is common to see a combination of sun, rain, sleet, snow and ice blizzards in the course of a single hike or trek up a glacier.
